Earlier in May we gathered together some of ECM Britain's missionaries, staff and trustees for a retreat. While this group was just a few of the hundreds of ECM workers spread across Europe, we still had people at the retreat working in Albania, Spain, the UK, Portugal, the Netherlands, Austria and more. Likewise the nationalities within this group included Lithuania, Romania, Albania, USA, UK, Puerto Rico, the Netherlands and Brazil and more.

That diversity reminds me of Revelation 7.9 where John was having a vision of heaven and said: “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.”

That is why ECM exists — we want to contribute to the crowd that will be there worshiping Jesus.
