Who will bring HOPE?

VOTE.jpgTuesday 02 July 2024 12:22

Trusting God in the midst of the elections.

The UK and French elections are all over the news and social media. But sometimes it can feel like the more you hear, the more confusing it all becomes. Every party is promising that only they have the answers.

I'll save you a lot of time -- they don't really have all the answers. The only one who is truly in charge and really has your best interests at heart is God.

I'm not saying to not vote or care about who is elected. After all, we are told in 1 Timothy 2:1-2:

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."

So do pray. Do look for candidates who share your values and will care for your community.

But always remember that the only true and just ruler is our King in heaven. He is the one who can bring real hope. That is why He is the one we want to introduce people to -- in the UK, in France, and everywhere across Europe.
